Jamboree Day 3

At 6:00 am we were awakened by a bugual call. I slowly creeped out of bed. My muscles needs adjusting. lol

7:00 we are eating breakfast and will be taking a trek to STEM (science technology engineering and Mathematics).  Everyone had phone charging issues last night and this morning so we didn't get many pictures.

8:30 we arrived at the STEM center.  Lyla and I did the DNA sampling. We got to extract our DNA from our mouth spit. Then everyone did the crime scene forensics. Then we went to the robotics and Lyla and them got to battle robots for a patch. Then we sat for a few minutes to eat our lunch.  Picture of the food was our lunch.

12:30. We headed to the big trading post to shop. Lyla bought her a belt. I broke mine yesterday climbing the wall during the race. I took her belt. They did smaller learning activities all day like throwing a spear like whalers do, throwing a ball in an old time basketball hoop and things like that. It was some easier Scottish games.  Lyla and another boy are walking around patch trading.

5;00 I headed back to camp. Lyla and a few others went to Delta campsite to hang out with another scout group.   We ate our supper to prepare for the international campfire.

7:30. We arrive at the campfire. Only half of our kids came. But the ones that did really had a good show. I was pulled from the crowd to dance with  Etheiopia.  Our camping partners from Honduras. Thailand put on a fantastic show. It was some girls dancing. Then 2 people started fighting over a girl. They fought in Kung fu then they did a sword fight. They ended the fight with the Boy Scout moto to make new friends and shook hands. Then Egypt did some random dancing to their music. One sarong ended up like a mosh pit.   I can tell you the kids of ours that came were digging this whole show of nations. Amazingly Lyla and Kaia went up and danced in the pit.  By the time they made a complete circle it appears they looked at each other saying what did we just get in to?  Because  it was pretty intense. Lol.
